SUFFOLK COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY SUFFOLK COUNTY NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the repainting and repair work of granular activated carbon (GAC) systems at various Authority-owned properties will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on September 29, 2016, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. A Suffolk County Water Authority Engineer will meet with prospective Bidders at 10:00 a.m., September 14, 2016 for a pre-bid meeting starting at the Bellmore Avenue site, and then continuing on to two other SCWA properties. The Bellmore Avenue site is located on the west side of Bellmore Avenue between Oceanside and Amityville Streets (850 Bellmore Avenue), Islip Terrace, NY.
