SUFFOLK COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY SUFFOLK COUNTY NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the construction of a hydrotank enclosure and a well enclosure at pump stations on Fire Island, NY, will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on February 10, 2016, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. A pre-bid meeting on February 3, 2016 will take place at the Traffic Walk Well Field and Pump Station, located on the east side of Cayuga Street, 100' south of Thompson Avenue, Ocean Bay Park (Fire Island), Town of Brookhaven, NY. Any Bidder who wishes to attend this meeting shall make arrangements by contacting Pete Schembri of the Engineering Department of the Authority at 631-218-1133 or 631-831-5456. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Failure to comply with this requirement may be deemed sufficient cause for rejection of proposal.
