SUFFOLK COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY SUFFOLK COUNTY NEW YORK NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the construction of a 20" x 10"-diameter replacement well (no. 3A), approximately 620 feet deep, to be located at the August Road well field, North Babylon, Town of Babylon, NY will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on December 3, 2015, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 4040 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, New York 11769, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. A Suffolk County Water Authority representative shall meet with prospective Bidders at 2:00 p.m. on November 24, 2015 for an optional pre-bid meeting and walk through. The meeting will take place at the August Road Well Field, located on the north side of August Road, west of Deer Park Avenue (1287 August Road), North Babylon, Town of Babylon, NY.
