25-RFPMAPDBP-1 - Medicare Advantage with Prescription Drug (MAPD) Program

On behalf of Saratoga County (“the County” or “the Plan”) we invite your organization to submit a proposal for its administration of the County’s insured Medicare Advantage plan with Prescription Drug program (MAPD) for all Medicare eligible retired members and their eligible dependents. The County currently has 925 Medicare eligible participants (employees and dependents) under the current program. Medicare retirees and their eligible dependents are enrolled in a MAPD program that is fully insured and administered by MVP. Retirees and covered dependents who age into Medicare will automatically be enrolled into the Medicare Plan, effective on their Medicare eligibility date. There shall be no gap in coverage for those aging into MAPD. See documents for required Intenet to Bid Form.
