Saratoga County, through its Purchasing Department, is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms to provide engineering services related to CFD modeling of existing secondary clarifier systems, mechanical upgrades required on 3 existing secondary clarifiers, universal process gate replacement on the north train of the facility and design of required upgrades to the existing 4160v transformers and 480v motor control centers (MCC’s). The engineering firm, based upon the findings will also provide administrative, and construction phase services for the upgrades at the Saratoga County Sewer District #1 (SCSD) Wastewater Treatment Plant which is owned, operated, and maintained by SCSD.
Proposals, one (1) CLEARLY MARKED original and five (5) copies will be accepted until 5:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Saratoga County Purchasing Office, 50 West High Street, Ballston Spa, New York 12020. An informational meeting for prospective consultants will be held at the SCSD treatment plant Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Site inspections will be available at this time.
