RFP-DT-042925-MUSIC - Music Therapy Services

The purpose of this RFP is to explore the availability of local vendors to provide music therapy services to Rochester City School District students with music therapy services on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Students with disabilities typically receive music therapy services as they are determined eligible at the Committee on Special Education (CSE) to help them access educational curriculum. Recommendations for services are based on a formal evaluation process that is completed by a certified music therapist. Students must meet criteria that is established by the American Music Therapy Association. Students receiving music therapy in the Rochester City School District typically are in self-contained classrooms and have the classification of Autism.
