The Rochester City School District is looking for a vendor to successfully plan, coordinate, and execute the temporary relocation, or reconfiguration of classrooms and offices impacted by the Phase III of the Rochester School Modernization Program (RSMP). The move manager will be responsible for coordinating inventory, packing, labeling, carting all items that are located within the buildings to the new locations and placing the items in the correct spaces. Moving the schools into designated swing space or internal reconfiguration to facilitate construction and renovation activities, ensuring minimal disruption to academic operations.
Following project completion, manage the return move into their original facility, delivering both moves on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with educational and safety standards. Our expectation is that the entire process be completed 3 weeks prior to the start of the school year allowing the RCSD staff time to unpack and establish a comfortable classroom or office environment. The Move Manager will be required to coordinate operations with RCSD Facilities staff, building level staff, Principals, Custodians and the RSMP move coordination leadership team.
