Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking the services of a professional pest control company for the control of spiders using Integrated Pest Management Principles (IPM) and to service existing electric grid insect light traps at the Metropolitan Syracuse WWTP. The major areas of concern are the Biological Aerated Filter (BAF) process area, the High Rate Flocculating System (HRFS) process area and the Secondary Effluent Pump Station (SEPS) Building (See Attachment #1). In each of these areas, spiders and midge fly populations become problematic during the period of April through October.
