A. The project includes the construction of an Aviation Educational Building that includes
approximately 14,000 SF of vocational education hangar space, 10,000 SF of maintenance
hangar space, and 7,200 SF of classroom space. Also included with the project are construction
of access pavement to the building, site drainage, security perimeter fence modifications, and
the extension of a municipal water main to the building.
B. Type of Contract:
1. Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts. See
Section 011200 "Multiple Contract Summary" for a description of work included under
each of the multiple contracts and for the responsibilities of Project coordinator.
Contracts for this Project include the following:
a. Contract #1 – General Construction (including site/civil)
b. Contract #2 – Electrical Construction (Including Fire Alarm, Security, and
Telecommunications)
c. Contract #3 – Mechanical Construction
d. Contract #4 – Plumbing Construction (including Fire Suppression)
