RFP-2014-016 - Technical Assistance for UCTC 2040 LRTP

Summary of Specifications:
The Ulster County Planning Department as host agency for the Ulster County Transportation Council (UCTC) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from qualified consulting firms to assist UCTC staff with the development of the Year 2040 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). Federal Metropolitan Planning laws and regulations (23 U.S.C §134, 23 CFR 450, as revised under §1201 and §1202 of Public Law 112-141, 112th Congress (MAP-21)) establish the framework and provide guidance in the preparation of LRTPs by Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs). The Plan will be developed in a manner that meets all Federal and State LRTP requirements and will be MAP-21 compliant The UCTC Year 2040 LRTP will serve as the basis for how funding decisions will be made over the next twenty-five years for all aspects of the transportation system in Ulster County.
