RFB-UC13-27 - REMANUFACTURED DIESEL BUS ENGINE

Summary of Specifications:
Ulster County Area Transit is seeking a complete, drop-in, remanufactured engine for a replacement in a 2004 Orion 30’ transit bus VIN # 1VHFD6A2346700975 with a B400 Alison transmission. The existing engine is a Detroit Diesel – Series 50, Serial #04R0045224. UCAT will install the replacement engine and the existing engine will be returned for a Core Credit within 30 days of receipt of the remanufactured engine. The bidder is to include in his bid price the delivery of the replacement engine as well as return freight for the core engine. When the core engine is ready for return UCAT will contact the vendor and the vendor is expected to dispatch a truck to make the pickup at his expense. A lift gate truck must be used for both the initial delivery and the pickup of the core to return.
