Ulster County is soliciting sealed bids for the Construction of a 140 feet long reinforced concrete retaining wall along the north side of Ohayo Mountain Road adjacent to the Sawkill Creek. The bid includes maintenance and protection of traffic, erosion and sediment control measures, stream protection, site preparation, selective demolition including sawcutting, tree removals, guide rail removal and production cold-mill surface planing of bituminous concrete, excavation, cast-in-place reinforced concrete retaining wall with architectural formliner, concrete staining, fall protection pipe handrail, select backfill, riprap, subbase, base, binder and top course hot mixed asphalt, pavement markings and all appurtenances as shown on the drawings and specifications for a complete project. The procurement is being done by the Department of Public Works.
