RFB-UC16-023 - DEMOLITION / FLOOD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to obtain qualified demolition contractors for demolition, removal and disposal of flood prone structures as determined to be in the best interest of Ulster County. The structures may contain some salvageable or recyclable materials, such as brick, lumber, woodwork, fixtures, etc., and the materials shall become the property of the successful bidder upon completion of the demolition projects. It is desirable that materials removed from the site not be treated as demolition debris destined for a landfill, but be recycled both in whole and in part. 

Approval has been granted by the New York State Office of Emergency Management (NYSOEM) for award of the Ulster County sub-grantee application to be funded under FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP).
