Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for the purchase of an Animal Rescue Trailer for procurement by the Emergency Management department. The trailer would be used in the event of a natural or man-made disaster or special need to shelter multiple domestic animals. During disasters Ulster County establishes human shelters however, pets are not allowed. Having a mobile shelter for pets will allow Ulster County Emergency Management Department to set up near human shelters, thus allowing the pet owner access to their pet.
