RFB-UC13-143C - ASBESTOS AND MOLD ABATEMENT

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for Asbestos and Mold Abatement services at 67 Wurts Street, Kingston, NY for the Ulster County Department of Public Works, Buildings and Grounds Division. The installation will be according to the attached plans and specifications. The building has been inspected and has asbestos plaster (base coat only), floor tiles, mastics, linoleum and adhesives, exterior window caulk and pipe insulation. To meet the intended use requirements renovations to the structure are required. In addition to Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), the County of Ulster (the ”County” or “Owner”) has discovered mold growth throughout the basement of the structure. The County is therefore seeking to perform only those abatement operations which are absolutely necessary to accommodate the renovations.
