Summary of Specifications:
Part I – Install lexan material at the Intake Correctional Facility, New City, NY 10956. Furnish material and supervision to install 26 x 26 ¼ - ½” clear lexan polycarbonate plastic on 20 windows at the County of Rockland Intake Correctional Facility in New City, NY 10956. Contractor to remove and reinstall existing glass. This work is to be done from the outside and will require a lift. Contractor to install ½” clear polycarbonate plastic in between the steel bars and seal any remaining open spaces between the polycarbonate with a clear silicone so no objects can be tied or inserted on or behind the bars. Part II – Remove and replace aluminum windows at the Correctional Facility, New City, NY 10956. Furnish material and supervision to remove and replace 4 aluminum windows at the County of Rockland Correctional Facility in New City, NY 10956. Contractor to supply windows and is responsible for final fit. Field measurements required. Quantities – One (1) Aluminum Double Casement Window and Three (3) Aluminum Awning Windows. – Approximate sizes are as follows: (contractor responsible for field measurements and verifications) Awning Windows – 43” x 20” – Mfg. All Seasons – Model V-650 Casement – 44” x 44” with screen – Mfg. GAMCO The aluminum casement window with screens. The window will operate by a manual push-pull handle. All windows will project out. The awning windows will operate by a manual push-pull handle. All windows are glazed with 1” insulated glass.
