Summary of Specifications:
The work for which bids are invited consists of furnishing and constructing the following: 1. Furnish, install, test and place into satisfactory operating condition approximately 17,200 linear feet of gravity sewer within the Village of Sloatsburg. 2. Installation of manholes, building connections, cleanouts, and related improvements and appurtenances. 3. Furnish, install, test, and place into satisfactory operating condition approximately 870 linear feet of low pressure force main sewer within the Village of Sloatsburg. The work is located in the Village of Sloatsburg in the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County, NY. The Contract Documents will be available on August 12, 2013 after 10:00 a.m. Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the offices of the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, NY 10962 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Furnish, install, test, and place into satisfactory operating condition approximately 50 grinder pumping stations within the Villages of Sloatsburg and Hillburn and in the unincorporated portions of the Town of Ramapo. The work is located in the Villages of Sloatsburg and Hillburn and in the unincorporated portions of the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County, NY.
