Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland’s Department of Public Transportation (County) is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors with experience in delivering transit service, operations and maintenance. This request is primarily for fixed route service however, the County may introduce service changes as ridership demands dictate. The intent of this RFP is to describe the preferences of Rockland County for the provision of these services from a Contractor. The Contractor shall provide detailed descriptions of how they intend to provide the service in accordance with the requirements of the Proposal Format as described in Part 6.
