Technical Assitance in Procurment of Intelligent Transportation Systems Technology. 

Pre-Proposal Confereence on April 3, 2003 at 2P.M. 

The County of Rockland’s Department of Transportation is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist it with a diverse set of tasks focused on acquiring Intelligent Transportation Systems technology. The County requires technical assistance in evaluating, selecting, and acquiring ITS technology that will monitor and facilitate its efforts to assure that the highest degree of operational efficiency possible will be maintained. The County envisions a system that will include features such as, real time AVL monitoring, predictive departure information, a new fare control and passenger counting system, a new adjustable light digital signing, and computer-aided routing and dispatching for the County operated paratransit system.
