RFI-SSN-RC-2013-003 - Sole Source Nofication for Teel, Inc. Equip and Software

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Teel, Inc. (Teel Technologies). This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing forensic tools and an upgrade of Oxygen Forensics Suite 2013. This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The Contractor shall be required to provide ONE (1) each of the following: AP-UP828 Chip Programmer and Software with Universal Socket Adapter for BGA chips; AP-UP-PGS169E Adapter for UP828 Chip Programmer; FBGA 153 Adapter for UP828 Programmer, UP828 FBGA 137 Adapter, BGA 152A Adapter for use with UP828 Chip Programmer; Comprehensive JTAG Kit w/o Riff Box; Oxygen Forensics Software Suite 2013. Any interested party that believes they can provide the equipment and software noted above, as supplied by TEEL, Inc. or an equivalent product proven for use by Law Enforcement agencies, should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 5 business days of this announcement. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
