Summary of Specifications:
1. SCOPE 1.1. This solicitation is to furnish, deliver and install complete and fully operational Solar Powered Fence Shock Detection System at the Rockland County Correctional Center, 53 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY 10956. The system shall detect all breach attempts that use, cutting, climbing or stripping of the fence upon which the system is installed while disregarding meteorological phenomena such as wind and rain or interference from vibration. The system shall employ a sensing / detection cable which shall integrate a minimum of 40 detector elements spaced at 3m intervals on the existing entire perimeter security chain link wire meshed fence. The system shall be Protection Technologies, Inc. (ProTech) MaxiBus III G-Fence and Cartography Software or Approved Equal including the components and accessories as specifically listed on the Cost Bid Pages of this solicitation. 1.2. This bid is comprised of two sections. Section 1 shall be to furnish, deliver and install new equipment as specified. Section 2 – will be for a Percent Discount from Manufacturers List Price OR Nationally Offered Vendor Catalog Pricing for ProTech, Inc. or Approved Equal items not individually listed in Section 1.
