Description

Summary of Specifications:
All twenty-six (26) volunteer fire departments are dispatched by the Rockland County Sheriff Communication Division known as “44 Control”. The Communication Division maintains a countywide radio system, utilizing a number of VHF Lo-Band, VHF Hi-Band, and 800 MHz simplex and duplex channels. 

The County intends to develop a joint radio system that will provide efficient wireless communication for all public safety agencies with seamless interoperability.
