Summary of Specifications:
Police Vehicles specified are based on Ford Sedan Police Interceptor and Ford Utility Police Interceptor specifications, but does not mean to exclude other manufacturers of equal compatibility. Alternative “or equal” items must be equal in quality, design and performance. If bidding on another brand, all pertinent catalogs and specifications must be submitted with bid. The County’s decision as to the acceptance of the product as equal will be final. COOPERATIVE / PIGGYBACK USE OF RESULTING CONTRACT The resulting contract will be made available for statewide use through the Empire State Purchasing Group. By doing so the resulting contract is similar to a State Contract and can be utilized by all political subdivisions in New York State. Potential sales volume should be greater than the quantities detailed in this solicitation and should be considered when developing your bid pricing.
