Summary of Specifications:
This specification describes the minimum acceptable requirements for LIGHT AND MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS. There are 11 Vehicle Groups in this solicitation. Furnish and deliver the latest model Light and Medium Duty trucks as specified or approved equal to the various County of Rockland Agencies and other political subdivisions as detailed below. Due to the lack of a New York State Contract for Light and Medium Duty Trucks a number of political subdivisions have advised Rockland County of their interest in possible future purchases from this contract. Pricing shall remain firm through the manufacturers build out date. A percentage discount for other OEM optional equipment shall be provided for each Vehicle Group on the proposal pages. Delivery costs to any point in Rockland County shall be included in the Bidder’s price. Delivery Charges for purchases by other political subdivisions outside of Rockland County shall be negotiated between the political subdivision and the bidder, at the time of purchase.
