RFP-RC-05-028 - Laboratory Analytical Services

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to provide Laboratory Analytical Services for the County of Rockland, Department of Health and other authorized County Agencies. The RFP is to provide the diagnostic and analytical testing necessary to protect and promote the health and well-being of the citizens of Rockland County from communicable diseases and environmental hazards of public health concern in the areas indicated, but not limited to, the following: 

Environmental Services: analyze potable water, non-potable water, wastewater, solid and hazardous waste, paint samples, food and air for pollutants regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency, the New York State Health Department and other agencies. 

Services : Provision of sampling equipment and/or supplies for sampling of the above-referenced media, pickup of samples collected by RCDOH, and conduct of analyses as listed in the tables at the end of this section.
