Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking an experienced negotiator to act primarily as the chief negotiator to represent the County of Rockland in labor negotiations with each of ten (10) collective bargaining units as assigned. The negotiator will communicate directly with the County Executive or his designee in order to exchange information and clarify the County’s position with respect to negotiations and related matters. The negotiator will also provide information to the Commissioner of Personnel, as required, and interact with employees in the Department of Personnel, as appropriate.
