Summary of Specifications:
1. SCOPE 1.1. This solicitation is for Interactive Voice Communication Solution as specified, Code Blue or Approved Equal. The awarded firm shall supply complete turnkey system, perform site survey and installation, test, train, warranty the system (hardware and software). The awarded firm shall also be responsible to install a County owned Vicon Camera in the Pedestal / tower and the County will be responsible to connect the Vicon Camera to the Vicon System. 1.2. Modifications of or additions to basic standard model(s) indicated or less size or capability to meet these requirements will not be acceptable. Equipment furnished shall meet or exceed specifications. 1.3. Bid response shall indicate if warranty is OEM factory warranty or a Vendor supplied warranty. 2. REQUIREMENTS 2.1. Equipment bid shall be able to inter-connect and be compatible with the Sheriff recording system without modification or replacement of existing system. 2.2. Bidder shall guarantee in writing, with their bid, and be able to demonstrate within one week of notice the interfacing and compatibility of their equipment product with the existing equipment if bidding an alternate product. 2.3. The equipment furnished under this specification shall be the latest model in current production, as offered to commercial trade, and shall be of quality workmanship and material. The bidder represents that all equipment offered under this specification shall be new. USED, SHOPWORN, DEMONSTRATOR, PROTOTYPE, OR DISCONTINUED MODELS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. 2.4. Installation shall be provided by a Manufacturer trained authorized dealer. Bid response shall include what the County shall be responsible for in preparing for installation and what the Bidder shall be responsible for. 2.5. The unit shall be completely assembled and adjusted, and all equipment including standard and supplemental equipment shall be made ready for continuous operation. 2.6. All parts not specifically mentioned, which are necessary for the unit to be complete and ready for operation, or which are normally furnished as standard equipment, shall be furnished by the vendor. All parts shall conform in strength, quality and workmanship to the accepted standards of the industry. 2.7. The bidder shall state the name of three municipalities nearest to the county owning and operating the proposed equipment. All of the customers must have purchased the equipment within the last two years. 2.8. The vendor must have at least three (3) years experience in warranty repair work as well as be a factory authorized dealer. 2.9. Freight, FOB: Destination shall be included in the purchase price of equipment.
