Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland seeks information and proposals to enter into an Agreement(s) in which suppliers will provide Hospital/Nursing Home Liquidation and other related services to the County of Rockland.
The County is currently in the process of closing Summit Park Hospital and Nursing Care Center located in Pomona, NY.
The County is interested in receiving proposals that provide information regarding the following services needed in relation to the Closing of Summit Park. Based on the information provided, more detailed Requests for Proposals may be issued.
• Sale/liquidation of Summit Park’s assets including all medical equipment, laundry equipment, laboratory equipment, pharmacy equipment, x-ray equipment and hospital beds.
• Ongoing Collections/Billing Services after the official closure of Summit Park.
In addition, the County is interested in receiving information for any other services that may be currently available in relation to the closing and liquidation of a hospital and nursing home.
Any interested party that believes they can provide Hospital/Nursing Home Liquidation and Closing Services as noted above, should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 14 days of this announcement – November 19, 2015. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
