Summary of Specifications:
1. SCOPE 1.1. The County of Rockland is soliciting sealed bids for the purpose of purchasing 24/7 rated office chairs for County of Rockland Departments on an as needed basis. 2. REQUIREMENTS 2.1. All chairs must be standard new equipment and must meet the provisions of OSHA. 2.2. Quantities listed are estimates only and may be more or less than quantities stated. 2.3. All items are to be ordered on an as needed basis with no minimum. 2.4. All chairs are to include pricing for hard casters. 2.5. 24/7 chairs shall meet the minimum standards set forth by the performance test # FED-STD 834A as administered, by General Services Administration (GSA) (see attached). 2.6. Successful vendor must supply the following upon award: 2.6.1. Color photo/brochure of awarded item. 2.6.2. Brochure from manufacturer including specifications, fabric swatches, and color charts. 2.7. Upon award, vendor must supply a letter from the manufacturer stating that he is authorized to sell his product.
