RFP-RC-2013-010 - Electronic Health Records Software, Integration and Implementation

Summary of Specifications:
The County is implementing an EHR to provide functionality for the three departments in the areas of providing patient care, maintaining accurate electronic health records, billing for services, practice and facility management and administrative functions and reporting capability to meet regulatory and operational reporting needs. The EHR system(s) will be accessible to authorized users and will enable the definition and enforcement of security privileges to prevent unauthorized access to data as well as maintain patient confidentiality as mandated by state and federal regulations. The configured solution will be able to interact with the County’s existing systems supporting critical business areas such as Finance and Accounting and be capable of supporting future requirements as new needs arise.
