Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland in conjunction with the Rockland County Historical Society has received a Preserve America Grant to create an exhibit detailing how the Tappan Zee Bridge transformed Rockland County.

A Tappan Zee Bridge Educational DVD will complement the exhibition being mounted by the Historical Society museum, scheduled from May 24 to November1, 2009. This DVD will target Grades 4-8 in the Rockland area schools, although it should be enjoyed by adults as well. HSRC has researched images, documents and possible video footage that can be accessed in the compilation of the following elements of the DVD, duration approx. 35 minutes, 1000 copies:
