Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland seeks responses from a qualified Contractor to conduct Debt Collection Services. These services will maximize collections of the Summit Park Hospital (L-TAC) and the Summit Park Nursing Care Center which will close as of December 31, 2015, thereby enhancing the County of Rockland’s revenues, using the most cost-effective methods and the highest professional standards. The debt collection services provided pursuant to this RFP, shall be available for all debts owed to County of Rockland Summit Park Hospital and the Summit Park Nursing Care Center. Debts can include medical collections, third party payments and any other type of receivable that is capable of being collected with the exception of revenues specifically governed by separate statutes such as revenues from taxes, investments, federal grants, Medicaid vendor overpayments and debts of cities and towns.
