RFP-RC-2013-017 - County of Rockland Indian Point GIS Application

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Scope of Objectives is to obtain a proposal to retain professional services to replace an existing online GIS application. This application would be based in a computer programming language(s) consistent with the County, and acceptable to the GIS and emergency management staff. Upon completion of the project and acceptance by the County, any browser-based application will be hosted on the existing Rockland County GIS Portal at https://geopower.jws.com/rockland/. The intention of this Scope of Objective is to select a single provider for consulting services to the Rockland County Department of Planning. The Department of Planning is doing work for Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services. The project shall entail programming efforts to replace the existing Indian Point Interactive GIS Mapping System presently hosted and located at http://rockland.idsimaps.com/start.asp?tfw=400 . We are considering two options to replace the current application as well as possibly implementing a mobile solution.
