Summary of Specifications:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the Sewer System Maintenance Project Contract of SM 2016-01 will be received by the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 (RCSD No. 1). Bids will be received on October 9, 2015 until 11:00 A.M., Local Time, in the offices of RCSD No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, New York, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. These bids will be for the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials and labor for Contract SM 2016-01, all complete, in place, tested and ready for use. Work will be in accordance with the Contract Documents including plans, specifications, Instructions to Bidders, etc., prepared by the RCSD No. 1 Engineering Office for said project. Any bids not delivered in person shall be mailed to the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, New York 10962. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and shall be plainly marked on the outside with the statement "bid documents enclosed" and with the contractor’s name and the title of the bid. The work for which bids are invited consists of furnishing and constructing the following: 1. Sanitary Sewer Cleaning, Televising, Testing and Sealing; 2. Manhole Pre-Cast Sealing; 3. Manhole Brick and Block Sealing; 4. Internal Manhole Chimney Seals; and 5. Miscellaneous Additional Work. The work is located in the Towns of Clarkstown and Ramapo, Rockland County, New York. The Contract Documents will be available on September 11, 2015 after 9:00 AM. Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the offices of the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, New York 10962 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
