Summary of Specifications:
The work for which bids are invited consists of furnishing and constructing the following: 1. Removal and Disposal of the Existing Substation No. 2 2. Removal includes but is not limited to the removal of existing transformer, low voltage switchgear, cable, conduits, junction boxes, fittings, etc 3. Installation of a New Substation no. 2 4. Installation includes but is not limited to oil filled transformer, HV/LV Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Switch, Manhole, Duct Bank, Junction Boxes, Fittings, Supports, Cables, etc 5. Installation of Temporary Electrical Service from Electrical substation No. 4 The work is located in the Town of Orangetown, Rockland County, NY. The Contract Documents will be available on January 6, 2012 after 10:00 a.m. Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the offices of the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, NY 10962 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the offices of the Board of Commissioners, Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, NY at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
