Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland desires to solicit qualified proposals for the rental of digital photocopiers on a cost-per-copy basis for our centralized Reproduction Department, in accordance with this request for proposal. Award resulting from this RFP will be a firm fixed five-year term (60 month) contract. This customized reproduction system will include a Desktop PC that Department / Agencies can forward documents to the Reproduction Division to review for image quality and print, software to manage print queues and workflow and move jobs from one unit to another, include OCR software, Document Management Software, Rational Database Software, Publishing Software, and Document Accounting Software to track and recover costs associated with output, RIP capability, network and information security software. The proposed solution shall have the option to include at least one copier that has color capabilities if proposals fall within budget. Current system also includes a complete Coverbind System, Folder and Inserter that also needs to be upgraded and replaced. The system offered must meet or exceed the specifications listed. The awarded proposer shall also be able to assist the Reproduction Department to better utilize the recommended equipment / solution to compete for current print / copy jobs that the County currently Bid/Quotes out.
