Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to provide civil engineering consultant services for the County of Rockland Department of Public Transportation on an as needed basis. Projects may include, but not be limited to, design placement of bus shelters and site assessment, the preparation of feasibility reports (studies and recommendations), park-and-ride facilities, survey site, recommendations, estimates for transportation projects, upgrades, and site improvements, environmental impacts, review of existing drawing and specifications, bid document development and bid review, etc. as they relate to bus shelters and park-and-ride facilities. At time of request, awarded firm will be required to provide a written Scope of Work (SOW) and project specific pricing based on the rates offered with this solicitation.
