Summary of Specifications:
THIS SOLICITATION IS A MULTI-STEP BIDDING PROCESS SCOPE OF WORK To provide a complete odor control program to the Rockland County Sewer District No. 1. (RCSD) Provide all labor, material and equipment to install and maintain the odor control program. The purpose of the program is to reduce Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) levels to sufficiently control odors and corrosion at established control points within the RCSD. The odor control system shall provide H2S control within the following established guidelines. On a consistent basis the pumping station applications must keep H2S to an average of 0 ppm with a maximum peak of less than 5 ppm. All potential bidders shall conduct a performance test using the product and system to be provided in their proposal. All testing shall be performed at no cost to the RCSD in accordance with §4.0. On a consistent basis the pumping station applications must keep H2S to an average of 0 ppm with a maximum peak of less than 5 ppm. UNIT PRICING SHALL BE RECEIVED UNTIL 3:00PM ON: MARCH 5, 2013 at the Rockland County Purchasing Department at the above address by those bidders who have completed a Performance Test and can successfully meet the requirements of these bid specifications. The current contract award RFB-RC-2010-012, for the RCSD Odor Control Program expires on June 22, 2013. The total expenditures against this contract for the period of January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011 was $122,264.40.
