RFP-RC-2017-018 - CONSULTING SERVICES, IT, MIGRATION OF SOFTWARE AND SERVERS FROM NOVELL eDIRECTOR

The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide migration consulting services of Software and Servers from Novell eDirectory to Microsoft Active Directory, and other tasks as specified.  It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to select a single contractor for this project.
 
This RFP is designed to provide interested offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data.  Offerors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability under any agreement.
 
The County of Rockland is issuing this Statement of Work to obtain a Contractor to plan and perform, on-site, the following migrations for the County:

• Novell eDirectory to Microsoft Active Directory
• Novell Open Enterprise Server (OES) file servers to Microsoft file servers
• Virtualization of this newly created Microsoft environment
• Add existing Microsoft standalone application servers to newly created domain
• Implement a replacement product for Novell Zenworks
