Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to assist the County in the legal review and issuance of financing over a one (1) year period and to provide opinions on other financing issues. Law firms responding to this Request for Proposal should have extensive experience, a knowledgeable back ground and qualifications in the areas listed in the Scope of Objectives Section of this RFP. The County is an issuer of general obligation and other type dept. Total outstanding debt totaled approximately $614,863,977 as of 12/31/11, and will total approximately $ 629,720,000 as of 12/31/12. The County plans to issue over a one year period approximately $30,000,000 of debt for various public improvements The County plans to issue over a one year period approximately $ 0 of debt for various debt restructuring The County plans to issue over a one year period approximately $80,000,000 of debt for a deficit reduction bond. The County plans to issue over a one year period approximately $150,000,000 in notes for cash flow purposes and bond anticipation notes
