Summary of Specifications:
PURPOSE The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to provide auditing services for the Rockland County Health Department. SCOPE Rockland County intends for this Request for Proposal to result in the selection of one provider of auditing services for the Rockland County Health Department’s 2013, 2014, and 2015. Cost Reports: • Diagnostic and Treatment, and • Opinions The contracted provider will be responsible for the preparation and filing of the required Cost Reports including certification of Diagnostic and Treatment Cost Reports; informing the county of any regulation, reporting and/or rate changes; and preparation and filing an appeal if such a rate should be appealed. The information from the NYS website indicates that a “Certification of Data” is required for all the clinic cost reports which shall be independently audited and certified to. The cost reports shall be certified by a CPA firm to certify for accuracy. No separately issued financial statements are required. The county audit is performed under separate contract.
