Summary of Specifications:
Website Design, Development & Training The County of Orange is seeking proposals for a complete redesign of its current internally designed and maintained website. The County requires assistance with on-going web design services including, but not limited to, development, design, maintenance and administration services to enhance its web presence on a continuous basis. The County wishes to have a cleanly designed, user-friendly site for the public’s use. The site is primarily to be used for providing Orange County government information to its residents and for some level of e-government, but will also provide community-wide information and appropriate links. The site must be easy to navigate, pleasing in appearance, and able to be updated by County personnel. The County anticipates that it will use a “train the trainer” approach to educating its own workforce with the selected vendor training Department of Information Services personnel who in turn will work with the other departments to assist them with page maintenance, modification and development. However, the County is interested in hearing from respondents about what their experience has been in regard to the most successful training regimen.
