RFB-OC041-09 - Vaious Automobile and Truck Batteries

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of Orange County Department of Public Works to solicit bids for VARIOUS AUTOMOBILE & TRUCK BATTERIES to be supplied and delivered to Orange County Department of Public Works, 2455- 2459 Route 17M, Goshen, New York. The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, beginning from date of award. The County of Orange reserves to right to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods. All emergency requirements will be satisfied within 24 hours. Emergency needs will be delivered via vendor or picked up by the County of Orange. If an item is out of stock or not stocked, the contractor shall inform the agency when delivery will be made. If not acceptable, agency may purchase for another source. Prices quoted must include core charge and delivery. No other charge will be accepted. ALL BATTERIES THAT ARE THREE (3) MONTHS OLD WILL BE REPLACED BY THE VENDOR AT NO CHARGE. All batteries must be clearly marked with an expiration date.
