Orange County is soliciting vendors to provide four solid rubber tires to fit a Caterpillar IT38 Loader. This loader is used in the County's recycling facility, and because of the conditions where this equipment is used, the tires provided must be proven for use under "severe" applications. The facility anticipates driving this machine over broken glass, nails, wood and other materials which would be detrimental to a standard "air-filled" tire.
