RFB-OC009-06 - Removal of Household Hazardous Waste, CRT's & Computer Peripherals

Summary of Specifications:
Orange County, under anticipated approval of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, is planning four (4) County-wide Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), CRT’s, & Computer Peripherals Collection Events tentatively scheduled for "Event Number 1" Friday and Saturday, April 7th and 8th, at the Orange County Airport, Montgomery; "Event Number 2", Friday and Saturday, June 9th and 10th, at the Port Jervis Fire Training Center, Port Jervis; "Event Number 3", Friday and Saturday, August 18th and 19th, at the Delano Hitch Stadium, Newburgh; "Event Number 4", Friday and Saturday, October 20th and 21st, at the Orange County Fire Training Center, Goshen. The purpose of these events is to provide Orange County residents, schools, farms, municipal governments, businesses, and various Departments of Orange County that are conditionally exempt small quantity generators with an economical, convenient and environmentally sound disposal option for their unwanted or out-dated pesticides, fertilizers, solvents, oil based paints, etc., CRT’s, and Computer Peripherals.
