Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this request for bids is to solicit bids from qualified, interested parties for the Larviciding of Catch Basins within Orange County. The final selection of a vendor and award of a contract for these services will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Each Bidder must have at least THREE (3) YEARS of experience in providing the types of services described herein. Additionally, the Bidder must be able to provide a minimum of three satisfactory references for projects similar in size, scope, complexity and value to the work contemplated herein. Each Bidder shall familiarize himself with all of the attached Contract Documents, including but not be limited to Plans, Forms, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, etc., and will be held responsible to fully comply therewith. All requisitions for payments must be submitted on approved invoices, attached to an Orange County Claimant's Certification Form. Each Bidder should visit the various sites and carefully examine the present conditions so that they may form a firsthand estimate of the work to be done. The submission of a Proposal acknowledges that the Bidder has examined the sites and taken into consideration all items including labor, material, equipment and/or anything else which affect the work. The submission of this Bid acknowledges that the Bidder has examined these plans, specifications and all other Contract Documents.
