RFP-DSS05-05 - Housing Resource Center

Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Department of Social Services anticipates awarding a contract to one (1) Proposer to administer emergency and non emergency housing services to residents in need in the Newburgh area. These services may include but are not limited to: 1. the development of a strength-based, family focused Housing Resource Center to be located within the Neighborhood Resource Center; 2. co-locate with staff from the Department of Social Services Housing Unit; 3. coordination of services to screen person (s) applying for emergency housing services as a result of their homeless; 4. coordination of services designed to prevent homelessness; 5. develop outreach efforts into the community to address issues that may be cause of homeless for families and individuals;
