RFP-DSS06-05 - "Docuware" Technical Support

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange, through the Department of Social Services is seeking proposals to provide any necessary services that will allow this agency to begin an Electronic Document Management System (Document Imaging System). The system when fully operational will permit the Department of Social Services to transition from its current paper based system of records retention to an electronic system of records retention. It should be noted, that the DSS will consider proposals that include revisions to workflow and must include proposals that are capable of remaining compliant with the rules and regulations established by the State of New York as they pertain to the Department of Social Services (18NYCRR). The Orange County Department of Social Services anticipates awarding a contract to one (1) Proposer to provide this agency with technical support for our existing document management software; Docuware or for the development of a new system which can be seamlessly integrated into our existing imaging project.
