Summary of Specifications:
The bid covers the Printing and Delivery of Election Supplies for the September 2008 Primary Election and the November 2008 General Election (321 Election Districts), and any Special Elections that may occur. The Board of Elections reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder must have at least (5) years experience in supplying election materials (ballots, machine strips, posters, fist cards and statements of canvass) in New York State, for a county comparable in registration to Orange County (in excess of 175,000 registered voters) and using A.V.M. Voting Machines. A listing of Counties in New York State, of comparable size using said bidder must accompany bid. The successful bidder must also have printing capacity to handle up to 35” forms as well as related equipment. The requirements of the contract cannot be subcontracted. Due to the fact that Orange County has the Team Work Ballot Counting Software/OpScan 6 Scanning Unit from Sequoia Pacific, the printing Vendor must be able to supply Optical Scan Ballots to conform with the above mentioned unit.
