RFP-TOUR001-07 - 2008 Advertising & Promotion

Summary of Specifications:
Orange County conducts an annual co-operative and image advertising campaign to promote the county’s tourism. The goal is to bring as many people to the area as possible by attracting them with well placed, graphically pleasing ads. Estimated budget for 2008 is $200,000 inclusive of all advertising, brochure design, ad placement, commissions, fees, and ad production work. Funding for the program comes from New York State, Orange County Government, and the private sector. All advertising and promotional programming adheres to I LOVE NEW YORK criteria. Samples of past ads and brochures are available for reference. All questions on this RFP must be answered in the order that they are presented. Any omissions may be cause for rejecting the proposal. Selection will be based both on original ideas and cost. The lowest bid will not necessarily be the one that is chosen. Contract runs from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2010 with an option to renew for another year at the same rates.
